Poll closed, what kind of fisherpeople read this blog?

August 17, 2014 By Scott 2 Comments

The poll has been closed after a month.  The results are interesting.  With the sample of 31 participants, it was a dead tie for first place.

9 were “avid fisherfolks not using oama for bait” and 9 were “casual fisherfolks out for fun in the sun”.

Of the remaning participants, 6 were “avid fisherfolks who had success using oama for bait”, 5 were folks fishing vicariously through the blog, and 2 were the rare honest fisherfolks who admitted not having much success fishing oama so far.

Given the relatively small number of participants, we can’t draw definite conclusions but I was surprised to see so many non-oama fisherfolks participating during this epic oama season.  Maybe because it’s so time consuming to catch oama, keep them alive, and then use them before they expire?

Thank you so much for participating in the poll.  Stay tuned for another one soon.
