Poll: What type of fishing are you most interested in reading?

We’re constantly trying to improve Hawaii Nearshore Fishing. If there’s a type of fishing we’re not writing about, maybe you could provide those Guest Posts!  Contact us if you’re interested.

    I think you need a second chance at the sardine and halalu fishing:) I will take you again if you’d like. I’d also like to see more shoreline whipping and trolling also…

      Hi Matthew,
      When the halalu are mixed in better at your spot I’ll give it another shot, thanks for the invite! Would love to drop a medium sized halalu down while bottom fishing off the kayak. Please keep most posted on the bait status – I promise to keep it a secret. 🙂

          I know.

          Having to wear glasses definitely takes a lot of fun out of shoreline fishing, especially when you need to change/repair lines about every 15-20 minutes.

            You still gotta tie lines on the kayak too, but not as much maybe? We’ve gotten old, and you’re younger than me!
