This VMC® traditional O’Shaughnessy 4x strong treble hook is forged from the finest high-carbon steel. After years of service it is still the hook of choice for lure makers and fishermen looking for maximum strength and sharpness at an affordable price.

We’ve used these to replace weaker stock hooks on lures.  Go one size smaller than your stock hook since these 4x hooks are heavier and the extra weight may affect the swimming action of your lure.  Some oama trollers use these as stinger hooks.  We’ve never had one open up under the stress of a hard pulling fish.
