Poll: How’s your papio season going so far?

September 20, 2019 By Scott 2 Comments

It’s mid-September and there’s still oama in the shallows if you know where to look. We’re not seeing as many oama and papio fishers though. How has the season been for you so far?

For me Scott it has been good. Caught 5 Omilus and a Lai. Omilus 11 inches and above. This year on the Northside there were 25 poles strung out across the beach. My friend caught 7 papios that day.

      Hi Craig,
Good to hear how your papio catches have gotten better each year!
