Halalu: This fly has a mixed green top, a white bottom, and a yellow stripe across the middle to imitate another classic schooling fish, the Halalu. It could pass as a sardine as well. This fly has done well in the morning or right after the sun has risen, but it does well at any time of day.
Length: approximately four inches
Hooks: Gamakatsu 2/0 saltwater series
Depth: Can be worked at any depth depending on size of weight and retrieve, although medium to fast surface retrieve is recommended.
