New for 2019, Duel, Yozuri’s sister company, released the Hardcore Shallow Runner in Japan.  It has a magnet that releases 2 tungsten balls on the cast to back weight the lure, and the tungsten balls roll back into place after the cast, perfectly balancing the lure.  The swimming action is a mixture of wobbling and rolling; wobbling when retrieved fast, rolling when slowly retrieved.

We’re selling the 120mm (4.75″), 21g (0.75oz) lure that dives between 10 – 60cm (4 inches – 2 feet).  There are other great casting, shallow running sub-surface lures like the Daiwa Shoreline Shiner Vertice SSR and the Shimano Shallow Assassin, but what distinguishes the Duel Hardcore Shallow Runner is the price. Like Yozuri lures sold in the US, the Shallow is very affordable.
